Book-To-Film Adaptations
Book-To-Film Adaptations
Print researched & designed with passion by Alejandro De Luna. Produced in small quantities and shipped from a small, independent business. |
A unique print for the film fanatic and bookworm that compiles more than 60 of the greatest book-to-film adaptations from the 50s to present times.
Some of the book-to-film adaptations featured in the print are:
Anthony Burgess' A Clockwork Orange (Stanley Kubrick)
Mario Puzo's The Godfather (Francis Ford Coppola)
Vladimir Nabokov's Lolita (Stanley Kubrick / Adrian Lyne)
Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird (Robert Mulligan)
Stephen Chbosky's The Perks of Being a Wallflower
Stephen King's The Shining (Stanley Kubrick)
Ken Kesey's One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (Milos Forman)
J.G. Ballard's Empire of the Sun (Steven Spielberg)
Emma Donoghue's Room (Lenny Abrahamson)
Stephen King's The Shawshank Redemption (Frank Darabont)
Boris Pasternak's Doctor Zhivago (David Lean)
Stieg Larsson's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (David Fincher)
Winston Groom's Forrest Gump (Robert Zemeckis)
Thomas Harris' The Silence of the Lambs (Jonathan Demme)
Cormac McCarthy's No Country for Old Men (the Coen brothers)
Pierre Boulle's The Bridge over the River Kwai (David Lean)
Truman Capote's Breakfast at Tiffany's (Blake Edwards)
Featuring a font reminiscent of film scripts, the print joins the dots between the book author and the film director and it also includes the book/film release year and film duration.
This hand-signed print will provide you with a great talking point as well as an excellent reading and film list for years to come.
Hang it on your wall with pride.

Hello there! I'm Alejandro De Luna, the heart and soul behind The Sense of Doubt, a boutique print studio dedicated to crafting captivating wall art inspired by music, pop culture, and cultural heritage.
A little insight into my journey: In 2010, I embarked on a life-changing adventure, leaving my roots in Mexico City. This voyage led me to live and work in some of the world's most inspiring cities, including Stockholm (Sweden), Hangzhou (China), London/Manchester (UK), and currently, Berlin/Leipzig (Germany) – the proud location of my studio where I bring my designs to life.
My passion lies in exploring diverse topics, immersing myself in research, and transforming my discoveries into unique wall art that not only stands out but also tells compelling stories. My aim is to create prints that not only catch the eye but also spark conversation, much like a beloved book or film that always reveals something new upon each visit.
Each piece of wall art is produced in small quantities and is hand-signed by me, with every step of the process—from research to design—handled personally by me in my cozy home studio.
Thank you for stopping by and for your support of my work!
Alejandro De Luna
